Stephanie Lindsey

Dr. Lindsey is currently a postdoctoral fellow at Stanford University. She will join the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at UC San Diego Jacobs School of Engineering in 2021. She received her Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering at Cornell University in the Cardiovascular Developmental Bioengineering Lab. Dr. Lindsey completed a Whitaker postdoctoral fellowship in Montpellier France, before joining the Cardiovascular Computation Lab at Stanford University. Her research has focused on cardiovascular remodeling in both native vessels and tissue-engineered constructs and its association with hemodynamics. She relies heavily on numerical simulations to close the gap between experimental and clinical data. Dr. Lindsey earned her Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering at Washington University in St. Louis, where she began research in the Mechanics of Morphogenesis Lab. Dr. Lindsey is currently looking for PhD students for her upcoming lab at UC San Diego. Contact her for details at!
