My name is Brianna Kline and I am a registered nurse on CVC 5 at Michigan Medicine. I have been a nurse for 5 years. Prior to working on CVC 5, I was employed on 8D. Due to heart disease being a contributing factor to many comorbidities, especially within the black community, I made the change of leaving my prior unit and coming to work in the cardiovascular center because I was interested in learning more about cardiac disease and interventions to improve this patient populations overall health. Since being on CVC5, I have enjoyed learning more about cardiovascular disease processes and helping these patients improve physically and mentally. I am currently in graduate school and will be finishing my nurse practitioner program in May 2021. I have a passion for health promotion, disease prevention, and improving health outcomes of underserved communities. I am looking forward to taking the knowledge learned as a bedside nurse, coupled with my individual passions in health care, and applying those experiences to my practice as a future nurse practitioner. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and traveling!
