Dan Tyrrell

I’m Dan Tyrrell, a post-doc in the division of Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Michigan. I use animal models to examine how aging accelerates vascular diseases with a particular interest in how mitochondria can influence inflammation. I’m passionate about inclusion and representation, especially in STEM which is why I want to support outstanding Black scientists.
